Jennifer M. Stewart
Age 44, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday February 26, 2014 in Mercy Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 21, 1969 in Canton to David W. and Barbara J. (Otte) Leyda. Jennifer was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1988 graduate of Sandy Valley High School. She was a former member of St. Mary's of Morges Catholic Church and was employed by Utility Pipeline in North Canton for 8 years. She is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tom Davis. She is survived by her husband, David A. Stewart to whom she was married 19 years; two daughters, Kaitlin and Jessica Stewart both of the home; her parents, David and Barbara Leyda of Dellroy; two sisters, Carol and Jerrod Hasseman of Mineral City, Nancy Davis of Toronto, OH; one brother, Mike Leyda and Debbie Canfield of Mineral City; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Jennifer's co-workers and neighbors for their wonderful support, care and love. Funeral services will be Monday March 3, 2014 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Fr. Anthony R. Batt officiating. Interment in St. Mary's of Morges Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-4pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Jennifer's memory to the charity of your choice.
