Jennie Birtalan
Jennie Birtalan, age 82, of East Canton, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday March 27, 2007 in Crandall Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born June 12, 1924 in Canton to the late Anton and Jennie (Zlosel) Ceh. Jennie was a life resident of the East Canton area and a 1942 graduate of East Canton High School. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ where she was active in the Mary and Joseph Sunday School Class, and a member of the Lowell D. Oberly American Legion Post #667 Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Birtalan in 2001; one brother, Joseph Cech. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and David Brewer of Beloit, Judy and Steve Perduk of Butler, PA; two grandsons, Todd and his wife, Jillian Brewer of Pataskala, OH, Kent Brewer of Beloit; one sister, Della Ujcich of Carrollton. Funeral services will be Friday March 30, 2007 at 7:00pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Clark Kandel Jr. officiating.
