Jeff C. Lambert
Age 89, of Canton died Friday, February 28, 2014 in his home following an extended illness. Born February 24, 1925 in Aquone, NC. to the late Marshall and Nina (May) Lambert. He was a Canton resident for the past 65 years and retired from the Timken Company in 1986 with 35 ½ years of service. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and United Steel Workers Union Local #1123. Jeff was a warrior for the Lord and served as a deacon and teacher. He was a singer and played several musical instruments and was a part of the Lambert Family Gospel Singers. He is preceded in death by three brothers. Jeff is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eula Jean (Fornash) Lambert; seven children and spouses, Jeff (Sharon) Lambert Jr., Carol (Monte) Fike, Sharen (Ted) Burnworth, William Lambert, David Lambert, Thelma (Massey) Draper, Blaine Lambert; 15 grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) Lambert III, Shannon (Rick) Nicholas, Kyra Lambert, Luke Mayle, Jennifer (Nick) Lauer, Lenny (Christina) Larkin Jr, David McKinney Jr, Heather McKinney, Cody Lambert, Ryan Lambert, Jonathan Draper, Hannah Draper, Teddy (Jessica) Burnworth Jr, Christopher (Brittney)Burnworth, Tiffany Burnworth;16 great grandchildren, Julianna, Kacey, Charity, Jeff, Zach, Kiara, Cayden, Caylen, Jeff, Austin, Mersadize, Dominic, Cameo, Landon, Kelsey, Chase; two brothers, Richard and Kenneth Lambert; three sisters, Betty Sue Milby, Peggy Cole, Katie Tetherow; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Thomas W. Shank Jr. officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 pm.
