Jean Louise Kolm (Van Orman)
Age 89, passed away suddenly Oct 11, 2014. She was born March 28, 1925 to William and Adda (Lamberson)Van Orman. She was a lifetime resident of the Canton area. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1943. In her younger years she worked at the Pennsoil Co and Hess dress factory and also at a greenhouse. She loved painting, crossword puzzles, writing poetry, playing solitaire, and spending time with family. Preceded in death by her husband Donald P. Kolm; 5 sisters, Cora Brechbill , Elizabeth Hess, Ruth Dieringer, Helen Gatchell, and Lois Van Orman; 4 brothers, William, Howard, Roy and Donald Van Orman. Survived by a daughter, Bonnie Rios (Ricardo) and Son, Donald Kolm (Josie); grandson, David Kolm; granddaughter, Heather Kolm and great granddaughter Brittany Russell; a brother- in- law, Frank Dieringer; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 50+ year member of the Industrial Girls Yuniti Club at the Canton YMCA. Special thanks to the angels (staff) at the ICU at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev Mark Smith officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
