Jayrene Mae Fitch
Age 77, of East Sparta, passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 9, 2010 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born March 27, 1933 in Canton to the late Harold and Clemence M. (Eber) Wolford. Jayrene was an East Sparta resident for the past 54 years and formerly employed as a nurse with the Canton South Medical Center. She was a member of Tri-County Trail Association and was an avid quilter for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Jim Wolford. She is survived by her husband, Carl "Hank" Fitch to whom she was married 60 years; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Sandy Fitch of Safety Harbor, FL, Eric and Pam Fitch of Massillon, Dan Fitch of East Sparta; three grandchildren, April Fisk, Jacob Fitch and Laurie Perez; four great-grandchildren, Zach, Mike, Colton and Cain; one brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Liz Wolford of Dellroy. A memorial service will be Tuesday October 12, 2010 at 2:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Mike Malavite officiating.
