Janice E. Covert

Age 88, of Canton died Thursday, January 20, 2022 in the Laurels of Massillon. Born May 29, 1933 in Greentown, Ohio to the late Mervin and Dorothy (Lesh) Hershberger. She was a Canton resident most of her life and retired from the Hoover Company. She was a member of the Canton South Church of the Nazarene where she formerly served as treasurer. Preceded in death by her husband, Leland E. Covert in 2007; two brothers, Paul and Ralph Hershberger; one sister, Eleanor Getz. She is survived by three sons, Ron Covert, Doug (Melissa) Covert, Jeff (Heather) Covert; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service and interment will be Monday, Jan 24, 2022 at 10:00am in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens, 7920 Frank Rd, North Canton. Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
