Janet (Leech) Mohr, age 78, of Alliance, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in her home.
She was born on September 18, 1932 in Twinsburg, Ohio to the late Ross and Ada (Wilden) Leech.
Janet was a life resident of the Alliance area and a graduate of Alliance High School. A member of Silver Park Church of Christ, she was a homemaker much of her life, and was formerly employed by the Hoover Company.
She enjoyed spending winters in Florida with her husband, Tom. She was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother.
Janet is survived by her husband, Thomas O. Mohr to whom she was married over 40 years; son Dan (Nancy) Leech; three daughters, Lou (Tim) Slater, Bonnie (Dale) Weeks, Lee (Bob) Crihfield, (all of Alliance); two brothers, Ted Leech of Canton, and Robert (Shirley) Leech of Florida; two sisters, Lillie Noling of Canton and Rose Mowen of Alliance; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; infant twin sons, Jim and Jack Mikes; five brothers, Carl, Bill, Lloyd, Glenn and Delbert Leech; three sisters, Clara Prickett, Kate Cooksey, and Betty McCann.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 31, at 11:00 a.m. in the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home with Mr. Ed Holcomb officiating. Friends may call one hour before services (10-11 a.m.).
