Janet Lambert
age 88, of Canton passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in Willow Tree Manor Nursing Home, Charles Town, WV. She was born June 12, 1921 in Corning, OH. to the late Burton and Catherine (Wilson) Maxwell. Janet was a resident of Harpers Ferry, WV. since 2007 prior to which she resided in Canton for 61 years. She was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church and Eastern Star Chapter #368 Bolivar, OH. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Lambert in1974; one granddaughter, Lori Lambert. Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Martha Lambert of Mountain View, CA., Donna Lambert and Richard Fujie of Hawaii; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Ida Lambert of Canton, James and Vicki Lambert of Harpers Ferry, WV; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Grace Miley of Bolivar. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 – 8 pm.
