Janet M. Cool
Age 73, of Dalton, passed away Wednesday April 28, 2010 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born July 1, 1936 in Guardian, WV to the late Hurley and Rosa (Hall) Markley. Janet was a Dalton resident for the past 8 years prior to which she had resided in Canton. She retired from The Timken Company in 1995 after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie L. Cool Sr. on March 11, 2010 to whom she was married 57 wonderful years; one son-in-law, Richard Hines; one sister, Betty White; two brothers, Earl and Hurley Markley. She is survived by seven children, Patty (William) Moose, Linda (Lou) Mikunda, Jackie (Dave) DiCato, Debbie (Eric) Neff, Terri Angelo, Susie Archer, Jimmie (Terri) Cool Jr.; 17 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold "Bud" (Sharon) Markley, William "Bill" (Carla) Markley; three sisters, Dorothy Groves, Joanne Cochran, Ruth (Paul) Tanner. Mom truly was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who was so loved and will be greatly missed. She was a very strong caring woman who was very devoted to her family. She enjoyed sewing and making items for her family, We Love You Mom. Our heartfelt and many thanks to her special doctor, Dr. Shruti Trehan. Friends may call Saturday May 1, 2010 from 5-7pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. and Sunday 5-7pm in the Dodd and Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs, WV.
