Jane F. Tuttle

Jane F. Tuttle, aged 86, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2024 at Crandall Medical Center. A lifelong resident of the Canton area, she was born July 20, 1938, to Matthew and Nellie (Rickard) Mogus. Jane was a 1956 graduate of Louisville High School, and she retired from Canton City Schools in 1997 after 12 years of service. 

Jane was a very active member of Israel Lutheran Church, and she regularly attended meetings of the Robertsville Crochet Club to work on her various crafty projects. 

Jane is preceded in death by her parents. Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 66 years, William Tuttle Sr.; children, William Jr. (Barbara) Tuttle, Susan (Rick) Jamison, Gail Tuttle her fiancée Will Sutton , Robert (Diana) Tuttle; brother, Matthew Mogus; eleven grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service celebrating Jane's life will take place at Israel Lutheran Church, 376 Paris Ave SE, Paris, OH 44669, on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 2:00pm, officiated by Bernie Bresson and Scott Ellsworth. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00pm, immediately preceding the service. Jane will be laid to rest in Paris Cemetery, beside the church following the service.

After the committal service, everyone is invited to remain at the church for continued visitation, lunch, and fellowship.
