Jane E. Parsons
Jane E. Parsons, age 87, of Magnolia died in Aultman Hospital unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Born January 31, 1920 in Canton, OH. to the late Kenneth J. and Mary (Schweyer) Meiser. She was a life resident of the Canton area and a Rosie the Riveter during WWII. Retired from the Stark County Board of MRDD, South Gate School, in 1995 after 16 years of service and continued to volunteer until 2006. Member of Indian Run Christian Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Silas George Parsons in 2003; two brothers, Charles and Ford Meiser; one sister, Pearl Parsons. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Joseph Grant of Galloway, OH, Faye and Tom Coles of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Brenda Parsons of Magnolia, Dean and Becky Parsons of Wake Forest, NC; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, August 31, 2007 at 11:00 am in Indian Run Christian Church with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Indian Run Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday (Tonight) from 7 - 9 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Friday (10-11am). Memorial donations may be made to the Indian Run Christian Church building fund, 7455 Hill Church St. S.E., East Canton, OH. 44730.
