James W. Richmond
James W. Richmond, age 75, of Canton died Friday, May 12, 2006 in his home following an extended illness. Born in Hinton, WV. on Dec. 9, 1930 to the late Burman and Delilah (Mock) Richmond. He was a Canton area resident since 1966 and a U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran. Retired from Quaker State Oil Company in 1992 after 20 years of service. Member of the Ohio VFW, Amvets Post # 124 and the Army-Navy Club # 150. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline E. Richmond; three step-sons; two brothers and six sisters. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Andy Anderson of Indianapolis, IN; one son, Jim Richmond of Indianapolis, IN; two step-sons and spouses, Donald and Gloria Long of Alliance, OH, Philip and Donna Long of Charlotte, NC; two step-daughters and spouses, Faye and Jack Krager of Atwater, OH, Margaret and Jeff Spurrier of Canton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Tequila. Friends may call Monday, May 15, 2006 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave, Canton, OH. Funeral services will be at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor in Hinton, WV, on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 1:00 pm with calling hours one hour prior from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment in Elk Knob Cemetery, Hinton, WV.
