James E. Newton Sr.
Age 76, of Canton died Sunday, February 7, 2010 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born December 21, 1933 in Wayne County, WV. to the late Orvil and Ollamae Newton. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and was formerly employed by Adelman's Truck Parts and Service. Preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Newton; one brother, Arnold Newton; one sister, Mandy Ellen Newton; one granddaughter, AmeliaGrace Lillie. Survived by two sons, James and Timothy Newton; one daughter, Tina Newton; loving companion, Linda West of the home; loving step-daughter, Judy Lillie; ten step-children; numerous generations of grandchildren and step- grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Virgil Newton; one sister, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews; best friend, Amon Burnett; extended family, David and Jennifer West, Patty West, Vicki Mayle, Cathy West.
