James E. McGill
Age 72, of Canton died Monday, May 5, 2014 in his home following an extended illness. Born September 4, 1941 in Canton, Ohio to the late George A. and Helen A. (Readon) McGill. He was a life resident of Canton and retired from Lehmiller Trucking in 2011. James adored his wife, children and family. Preceded in death by one son, Joseph E. McGill; one son-in-law, John French; one sister, Judith Ann Lehmiller. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Irene M. (Philips) McGill; four sons and daughters-in-law, James A. McGill of Texas, Donald Brooks of California, Robert and Virginia Brooks of Arizona, Larry and Christine McGill of Alliance; two daughters, Billie French of Louisville, Penny Spach of Florida; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous other family members and close friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Rev. Dennis Rood officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
