James E. May
Age 76, of Canton, passed away Tuesday May 8, 2012 in his home following an extended illness. He was born January 17, 1936 in Canton to the late Glenn and Ada (Smith) May. He was a life resident of the Canton area and a U.S. Army veteran. James retired from the Operating Engineers Local #18 after 40 years of service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sarah K. May in 1983. He is survived by one son, Daniel May and his fiancée, Kelli Griffiths of Canton; two brothers and a sister-in-law, John and Martha May, Sam May all of Canton; one sister, Sue Rodgers of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Thursday May 10, 2012 at 12:00noon in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at www.sandersfuneralhomes.com.
