James R. Manion, age 79, of Canton died Thursday, May 25, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born July 8, 1926 in Cherry Valley, PA and had been a Canton area resident since 1956. He retired from Republic Storage Systems in 1985 after 35 years of service. Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Louisville Aerie #2374, Canton Country Music Association, Buckeye Country Music Association. Preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Manion; one brother and one sister. Survived by his wife, Virginia L. Manion with whom he would have celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on July 14, 2006; one step-daughter and spouse, Colleen and Ronald Durm of Canton. Friends may call Saturday, May 27, 2006 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
