James W. Lemasters
Age 87, of Canton, passed away Monday June 10, 2013 in Manor Care. He was born April 23, 1926 in Shirley, WV to the late Clem and Stella (Underwood) Lemasters. James was a Canton area resident most of his life and retired from The Timken Company in 1979 after 30 ½ years of service. He was a member of the former Market Ave Church of Christ and currently the Northwest Church of Christ where he served in many capacities and actives. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandson, Curtis Watson; three brothers, Paul, Donald and Lewis Lemasters. He is survived by his wife, Naomi Jean (Reed) to whom he was married 64 years; two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Judy Lemasters of Massillon, Perry and Cheryl Lemasters of Alliance; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Charles Cramer of Louisville, Betty and Danny Watson of Canton; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Luella Glover and Marybelle Ice both of West Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday June 14, 2013 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Keith Kull officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm.
