James S. Klotz
Age 78, of Louisville, passed away Saturday July 23, 2016 in his home. He was born June 22, 1938 in Canton to the late Harvey W. and Helen (Bowen) Klotz. Jim was a life resident of the East Canton and Louisville area. He was a 1958 graduate of East Canton High School and a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. He was formerly employed by Larry’s Sohio, Smith and Phillips Furniture and more recently, Hercules Engines Components. He was a member of the Stark County and Dover Antique Power Association and the International Cockshutt Club. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-mother, Thelma Klotz; step-brother, Ron Carl. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca C. (Philpott) to whom he was married 53 years; three children and their spouses, Theresa and Rick Kerr, Michael and Angela Klotz, Wilbur and Lynette Klotz; three grandchildren, Megan, Sean and Vanessa; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Karen Klotz. Funeral services will be Thursday July 28, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Jeff Franks officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
