James C. Frase, age 99, of East Canton died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in Laurels of Massillon following a brief illness. He was born January 1, 1906, in Waco, OH, to the late Morris and Emma (Herma) Frase. He was a life resident of the Canton area, retiring from the former Penn Central Company in the late 1970's. Member of the Canton Baptist Temple and had served in the U.S. Army with Troop F, 12th Cavalry. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife, Ryllis Frase in 1972; his second wife, Florence Frase in 1982; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by one niece, Idella Cline of Waynesburg; special friends and caregivers, James and Christina Dunbar of East Canton; and their daughters, Ashley and Erin. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. David Harmon officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour before services on Saturday (10-11am).
