James A. Casto
Age 87, of Canton, passed away Tuesday August 30, 2016 in Aultman Hospital. He was born December 29, 1928 in Gilmer County WV. to the late Henry and Elva (Frasure) Casto. Jim retired from Union Metal after more than 38 years of service. He was a member of North Industry United Methodist Church where he was active with the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast. Jim exemplified the qualities of loving, caring, protective and hardworking, he will be forever cherished by his family. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. (Bartlett) to whom he was married 68 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Raymond Swink; one son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Diane Casto; five grandchildren, Alicia, Tricia, Michelle, Jamie and Tammy; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Hoover. Funeral services will be Saturday September 3, 2016 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Jeri K. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 6-7pm and one hour before services on Saturday (10-11am). Memorial donations may be made to North Industry United Methodist Church.
