Age 66, of Dellroy, OH. died Thursday, February 12, 2009 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. Born October 14, 1942 in St. Marys, WV. to the late Clifford and Maybelle (Pettitt) Bradfield. He was a Dellroy resident for the past four years, prior to which he resided in the Canton South area most of his life. Jim retired from the Ford Motor Co. after 20 years of service. He was a member of East Sparta Christian Church, Caldwell Lodge #330, and had served on the Ford retiree's board. Preceded in death by one brother, Ray Bradfield; one sister, Martha Clark. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Alice Sue (Cunningham) Bradfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Guy Fredericks of Dellroy; one son and daughter-in-law, James II and Kathy Bradfield of Canton South; four grandchildren, Brittany and Brad Hockensmith, Faith and Shane Bradfield. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Jack Wingate officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 5-7 pm with Masonic Services at 4:45pm.
