Jacob K. Crisp
Jacob K. Crisp, age 76, of Branson, MO., passed away Saturday December 1, 2007 in his home following an extended illness. He was born in Hiawassee, GA, to the late Wade and Allie (Cable) Crisp. He was raised in Canton, OH where he had numerous friends and relatives. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years and obtained a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tri-State College. He retired from the Illinois Public Service Co., where he served as a superintendent, and moved to Branson, MO, where he resided for the past 17 years. He was an avid fisherman and loved to fish for Bass. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; one daughter, Laura; step-daughter, Taunia; four grandchildren; one sister, JoAnne Leidner; one brother, John Crisp; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara May; one brother, William Crisp. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday December 6, 2007 at 2:00pm in the Mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Delaney Young officiating.
