Irene Penland

Irene L. Penland, age 81, passed away on September 1, 2023.

She was born on October 22, 1941  in Port Washington, OH, to Omer and Thelma (Dickinson) Cutlip.

Irene was member of the Canton Baptist Temple, formerly employed by Burger King.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Christy (Roy McMillan), Tracey (Eric) Daugherty, Kerry (Mike) Lewis, Wendy (Don) Sanders; son, Judd Penland; 12 grandchildren; sister, Sarah (Joe) Bosio; 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Penland Jr. in 1999; brother and sister-in-law David (Karen) Cutlip, and a brother, Earl Cutlip.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday September 7 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a funeral service held on Friday September 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Tovissi.

Irene will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
