Irene (Price) Dillon
Age 83, of Canton a loving mother and grandmother died Saturday, December 25, 2010 in her home following a brief illness. Born January 4, 1927 in Caldwell, OH. to the late Roman and Mary (White) Lori. She was a Navarre/Canton area resident most of her life and was formerly employed by Nickles Bakery. Irene was a strong survivor of TB and cancer. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church where she was involved with the Altar/Rosary Society, quilters and an avid bingo player. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Nathan Price in 1987; second husband, Charles Dillon in 2008; three sisters, Barbara Sibila, Virginia Shafer, Marguerite Lori; three brothers, Clem, Bricker and Bill Lori. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Dixie and Ronald Slates of Navarre; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Becky Price of Massillon; three grandchildren and spouses, Rick and Kim Haines, Doug and Anne Haines, Zach Price and friend, Lindsay Galley; six great grandchildren, Nathan, Amanda, Emily, Monica and Julie Haines, Riley Price; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Rome Ritterbeck of East Canton; numerous nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at 10:00 am in St. Clement Catholic Church with Fr. Edward L. Beneleit as celebrant. Interment in St. Clement Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-7 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
