Iona L. Boyce
Age 95, of Minerva, passed away Monday December 11, 2017 in Minerva Eldercare. She was born May 13, 1922 in Alliance, OH to the late Elmer Frank and Violet L. (Reynolds) Springer. Iona was a Minerva resident since 1956 and was a member of Mt. Zion Community Church. She was formerly employed as an LPN by Molly Stark Hospital, Copeland Oaks and other various facilities. She was the former president of the UFO Club and Sebring Cruisers. She is preceded in death by one son, Russell Boyce. She is survived by seven children, Janice (Wes) Day, Jim (Sharon) Boyce, Jackie Brownsword, Linda (David) Medley, Judy (Jeff) Mitzel, Tim (Tammy) Boyce and David Boyce; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, Benson Springer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday December 15, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Minerva.
