Ida J. McDaniel
Age 92, of Louisville, passed away Sunday August 16, 2015 in St. Joseph Care Center. She was born June 24, 1923 in Canton to the late William and Grace (Spear) Sickle. Ida was a Canton resident most of her life. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Louisville, AARP and former member of the Canton South Mothers Singers. Ida was formerly employed by Fishers Foods for 18 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank I. McDaniel in 1994; two daughters, Diana Gerber and Renee Laughlin; one brother, William Sickle; one sister, Audrey Wheeler; a very good friend, Donald Page. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy Gerber-English and David English of Louisville; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be Saturday August 22, 2015 at 11:00am in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Larry Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
