Howard E. Lutz
Howard E. Lutz, age 69, of Magnolia, died Monday October 30, 2006 in Akron City Hospital following a courageous battle with Lou Gehrigs Disease. He was born November 8, 1936 in Canton to the late William and Clarice (Leach) Lutz. Howard was a life resident of the Magnolia and Canton area. He retired from Minerva Welding in 2003, prior to which he had retired from the Belden Brick Company. He was a member of East Sparta United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Lutz in 2005. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Howard E. II and Jacki Lutz of Akron; three daughters and sons-in-law, Candi Lutz and Gerald Montgomery of Lorain, OH, Wendi Lutz of Magnolia, Teri and Keith Sykes of Toledo, OH; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Michael Montgomery, Charity Rose Lutz; four brothers, William, Tom, Floyd and Jon Lutz; one sister, Mary Anna Bibby. Funeral services will be Friday November 3, 2006 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services on Friday (10-11am). Memorial donations may be made to ALS Treatment Development Foundation at 215 First St, Cambridge, MA 02142.
