Hilda M. Reichard
Hilda M. Reichard, age 94, of Canton, died Friday February 23, 2007 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born August 1, 1912 in Louisville, OH, to the late Christian and Lillie Mae (Aldinger) Warren. Hilda was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a life resident of the Stark County area and a faithful member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was active with the Altar Rosary Society, the church grief support group, garden club, and quilted for many years at the church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Reichard in 1980; two sons-in-law, Joseph Briese and Stan Crilow; one great grandson; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Joni Reichard of Canton South; three daughters, Carolyn Briese of East Sparta, Marolyn Clauss of Canton and her friend, Ray Vrabel, Dorene Crilow of Canton South; 11 grandchildren and their spouses, Rick and Cecilia Reichard of Reynoldsburg, OH, Tina and Dennis McCoy of Beaver Creek, OH, Michael Reichard of Dayton, Patrick Reichard of Massillon, Valerie and Brian Cook of Kailua, HI, Melissa Briese of Charlottesville, VA, Tony Briese of East Sparta, Dr. Kim and Charlie Magee of Duluth, GA, Jamie Clauss and Makeda of Loganville, GA, Dr. Dennis and Dr. Holly Lewton of Fishers, IN, Rochelle and Richard Ferren of East Sparta; 11 great grandchildren; a special nephew, Jim (Helen) Reichard of Canton; two half sisters, Nina Carrick and June Garman; a special caregiver, Marilyn McCoy; a dear friend, Marilyn Moauro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday February 27, 2007 in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. John Zuzik as celebrant. Internment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 5-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church at 2207 3rd St SE, Canton, OH 44707.
