Hilda Elizabeth Bryan
Hilda Elizabeth Bryan, age 81, of Canton, died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Aultman Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born June 15, 1924 in Moundsville, WV to the late Robert and Cordie Mae (Cook) Hafer. Hilda was a Canton resident since 1946, retiring from the City of Canton as a Deputy City Auditor. She was a member of Faith Community Church for over 50 years, Eastern Star, and a life member of Father & Son Democrartic Womens Club. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Judith Plantz; six siblings, John Hafer, Harold Keenan, Paul Hafer, Robert Keenan, Marie Walker, Eugene Keenan. Hilda is survived by her husband of 23 years, William Bryan; step-son & step-daughter-in-law, Ronald W. and Karen Bryan of East Sparta; five grandchildren, Rhonda, Jessica, Cassandra, Dakota, and Katie; six siblings and spouses, Jessie and Berna Lee Hafner of West Virginia, Wilma McGlumphy of North Canton, James and Jeaniel Keenan of Louisville, Louise and Earl Lamm of Louisville, and Ronald and Marie Keenan of Maine; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11AM Thursday, March 16, 2006 in the Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Dave Cobb officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services on Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Faith Community Church.
