Herbert G. Robinson Jr.
Herbert G. Robinson Jr., age 72, of East Canton passed away Friday January 16, 2009 in his home. He was born April 8, 1936 in New York, NY, to the late Herbert G. and Florence (Jordan) Robinson. Herbert was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. He retired from the Teamsters Local #19 in 1988 after 20 years of service with Nickle's Bakery and was the former owner/operator of Expressway Amoco for 12 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Florence Nist. He is survived by his wife, Donna M. (Davis) to whom he was married 44 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Herbert G. Robinson III and Megan Ward of Pittsburg, PA; one daughter, Lorie Robinson of Pittsburg, PA. Funeral services will be Tuesday January 20, 2009 at 11:00am in St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. James Painting officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Monday 6-8pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday (10-11am).
