Helen E. Reed, age 83, of Pickerington, OH died Saturday morning in Pickerington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Daughter of the late, Emmet and Ann (Shry) Taylor. She was a resident of Pickerington for past four years, prior to which she had resided in Canton for sixty years, retiring from Fisher Foods in 1982 after 23 years of service. Member of Epworth United Methodist Church where she had served as a Sunday school teacher and church board member. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles T.H. Reed in 2002, one son, Charles Reed in 2003, two brothers, Clyde and Thomas Taylor. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Suzann Reed of Pataskala, OH, Richard and Shirley Reed of Pickerington, OH; one daughter-in-law, Gale Reed of Waynesburg; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 10 am in the Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Ray Peters officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
