Helen Malavite
Helen Malavite, age 83, of East Sparta, died Thursday October 20, 2005 in Aultman Hospital following a very brief illness. She was born in North Industry, OH., August 28, 1922 to the late Harry and Georgia (Sardis) Malavite. Helen was a life resident of the Canton and East Sparta area and a 1940 graduate of Canton South High School. She was formerly employed by Troup & Pluto, Waltz Camera and Flicks Video. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Mike, Tom and Harry Malavite; one nephew, Cyrus Malavite; one great niece, Natalie Malavite. She is survived by four daughters and a son-in-law, Georgia Shankel of Maine, Nancy Shankle of North Industry, Alice and Alfonse Leto of East Sparta, Patsy Shankle of Maine; two grandchildren, Kevin Shankle of Columbus and Joshua Leto of N. Canton; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Robert Carrick of Canton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Nick and Kitty Malavite of East Sparta, Zeb and Marguerite Malavite of Canton, Gust Malavite of East Sparta; numerous nieces and nephews. Private family funeral services will be in Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Stephen Kimbrel officiating. There are no public services.
