Helen M. Dugan
age 88, of Canton, passed away Tuesday March 9, 2010 in Manor Care. She was born July 26, 1921 in Shelby, OH to the late Anthony and Wanda (Striker) Antenucci. Helen was a Canton area resident most of her life and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton. She was employed by the Old Landmark Tavern for 30 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dugan in 1990; two daughters, Andrea and Mary Alice Dugan; four brothers, Robert, Carl, James and Raymond Antenucci; one sister, Mary Alice Kolasky. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Cherie Dugan of Magnolia; three grandchildren, Danielle Palaski of Magnolia, Anthony Dugan of Canton, Maria DiGiroloma of Canton; five great-grandchildren, Nathan and Jacob Dugan, Verity Palaski, Vincenzo and Francesco DiGiroloma; two brothers and sister-in-law, Tom Antenucci, Paul and Joanne Antenucci all of Canton; three sisters, Eleanor McCullough of Orlando, FL, Jane Mottice of Canton, Sister Thomasine Antenucci of Canton; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday March 12, 2010 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant; the procession will form at the church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Manor Care for their wonderful and special care they provided for Helen.
