Helen I. Bumgardner
Age 88, of East Canton, passed away Sunday March 18, 2012 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born March 3, 1924 in Greenup, KY to the late Steve and Marylou Cindy (Harr) Johnson. Helen was an East Canton resident for the past 16 years, prior to which she had resided in Louisville for 35 years. She retired from Olympic Enterprise in 1987. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bumgardner in 1997; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elva and William Lloyd of Canton; one son, Tom Riggs of Carrollton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday March 22, 2012 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Tim Prince officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
