Helen "Marnie" Brewer
age 60, of Canton, passed away Sunday July 5, 2009 in her home following an extended illness. She was born March 30, 1949 in Canton, to the late Victor and Mavis (Caudill) Gauer. Marnie was a life resident of the Canton area and employed by Detroit Diesel for 21 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Cheryl L. Rex in 2007; one brother, Victor Gauer Jr. She is survived by her husband, Harold L. Brewer to whom she was married 43 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Mark Pahanish of East Sparta; six grandchildren, Marisa, Maranda, Mariah, Carrigan, Audrey and Lucas; four sisters, Patricia Leslie of Piketon, OH, Victoria Hutchison, Mary Swonger and Susan Canon all of Canton. Funeral services will be Friday July 10, 2009 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Lester Stephens officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
