Hazel P. Roush, age 77, of Canton, died Thursday evening, September 23, 2004 following an extended illness. Born in Canton, OH on June 19, 1927, daughter of the late Riley B. and Mattie Mae (Wilson) Hester. She was a life resident of the Canton area and former member of the Army-Navy Club. Hazel loved camping, fishing, singing, bowling, hummingbirds and her roses. Preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Jean Roush; two brothers; and four sisters. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Earl W. Roush; five daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria and Richard Howard of Canton, Linda and Walt Thompson of Michigan, Mary and Ralph Kyser of Louisville, Debra Burch of the home, Gail and Gregory Slatzer of Canton; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Dean of Canton and Roberta Leapline of Massillon; one brother, Robert Hester of East Sparta. Funeral Services will be Monday, September 27, 2004 at 10 am with Rev. David Harmon officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Momory Gardens. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 pm
