Hazel P. Felty

Hazel P. Felty, age 88, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

She was born on September 24, 1936 in Rush, KY to Freeman and Lizzie (Barber) Pennington.

 Hazel was a 1954 graduate of Boyd County High School. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Hazel was also a longtime member of the Canton Nazarene Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Felty; and sister Shirley Pennington.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Gary (Kathie) Felty, Shirl (Cliff Dillow) Lucas and Rita Gibbs; grandchildren, Alan Beers, Ashley and Sarah Beach, Jesse Pennington and Jennifer Felty.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 11 a.m. - Noon at Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. A funeral service will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Dr. David Anderson officiating. Hazel will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
