Harry R. Hunter
Age 86, of Canton, passed away Thursday September 4, 2014 in his home. He was born June 12, 1928 in Holmes County, OH to the late Harold and Minnie K. "Kate" (Hall) Hunter. Harry was a Canton resident since 1969 and retired from the Hoover Company after 15 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. Hunter in 2013; one grandson, Brian Hunter. Harry is survived by six children and their spouses, Dennis and Gloria Hunter, Sandra Black all of Canton, Ronald and Ada Hunter, Jerry and Deb Hunter all of Louisville, Sharon and Lynn Gibson of New Philadelphia, Terry Hunter of Phoenix, Arizona; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
