Harry W. Girton

Age 80, of Alliance passed away Monday August 9, 2021, in Bethany Nursing Home following a brief illness. He was born December 16, 1940, in Berwick, PA to the late Woodrow W. and Martha (Pluck) Girton. Harry was a 1959 graduate of McKinley High School and retired from Park Farms in 2009 after 49 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and woodworker, Harry enjoyed traveling with his good friend, Debbie. He was a supporter of many animal rescues and families in need. He is preceded in death by his stepmother, Thelma Girton; his wife, Sandy Girton, daughter, Sherry L. Rozaieski in 2020; one brother, Denny Girton. Harry is survived by two grandchildren, Mitchell (Jessi) Rozaieski and Kendal Rozaieski; son-in-law, Thomas J. Rozaieski; sister, Virginia Mohr; brother, Doug (Margaret) Girton; his very special friend, Debbie West. A private family graveside service will be conducted at a future date.
