Harold G. Wheeler
Age 69, a son of the late James and Ethel (Klick) Wheeler, passed away November 25, 2018 following an extended illness. He was born March 1, 1949 in Canal Fulton, OH and was currently a resident of Hiram, OH. Harold is survived by his loving companion, Donna Snider, along with his six brothers, James, John (Amy), Richard (Patricia), Larry (Kim), Dennis (Joanne) and Michael (Shelley) Wheeler; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was a proud veteran of service in the United States Marine Corps and a member of the Summit Lodge #213 F&AM. For many years Harold was employed as a welder and in the oil and gas pipeline construction along with his brothers. Having grown up in a farm family he had a deep love of animals, which was evidenced in his ownership and care of horses with his companion for several years. Friends and family will be received Thursday 5-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Masonic Services at 4:30pm. Funeral services will be Friday November 30, 2018 at 10:00am with Pastor Greg Smith officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Rose Hill Memory Gardens, Massillon. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
