Harold E. Marlatt

Harold E. Marlatt, age 83, passed away on May 30, 2023.

He was born on December 29, 1939, in Cambridge, Ohio, to Fred and Marie (Rayner) Marlatt. Harold moved to Bolivar and then to Canton.

He is a 1957 Lincoln High School graduate; retired from Goodyear Tire in 2001 with 33 years; an active member of the Canton Baptist Temple where he served in the Ambassador Class, Sharing and Caring Ministry, Forever Young class.

Harold loved camping; his babies, Brutus and Chloe; and was a Buckeye.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Joani Marlatt, son, Dennis (Lisa) Marlatt, two grandchildren, Shelby (Kyle) Hamilton, and DJ (Laura) Marlatt; two great grandchildren, Landri Hamilton and Mia Marlatt; half-sister, Bertha Dennis.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Marlatt; half-brother, Robert Chalfant.

Visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2023, 6-8pm at the Canton Baptist Temple Henniger Ministry Center and one hour before the funeral service. Funeral Service will be June 10, 2023, 12noon at the Canton Baptist Temple Henniger Ministry Center with Dr. Jake Tovissi officiating.

Harold will be laid to rest in North Lawn Cemetery.
