Harold E. Kieffer
Age 86, of Canton died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Brewster Parke Nursing Home. Born July 8, 1923 in Canton to the late August and Janet (Moffatt) Kieffer. He was a life resident of Canton and a U.S. Army WWII veteran. Harold retired from Republic Steel after 15 years of service and also retired from Canton Township Fire Department, Station #5 after 20 years of service. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. Kieffer in 2006. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Tamatha Kieffer of Canton; three grandchildren, Joe (Lindsay) Kieffer, Stephanie (Daryl) Spahr and Sandra (Adam) Haynam all of Canton; seven great grandchildren, Jeremy, Kayla, Jenna, Marissa, Mia, Julianna and William; one sister, Helen Maloney of Massillon. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Sunset Hills Burial Park, 5001 Everhard Rd. N.W., Canton, OH. 44718, with Dr. William Watt officiating.
