Harold "Sonny" E. Dean
Age 80, of Canton died Monday, September 1, 2014 in Select Specialty Hospital following an extended illness. Born August 2, 1934 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to the late Wilbert E. and Helen I. (Griffith) Dean. He was a Canton resident most of his life and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. Sonny was a wonderful musician and played the mandolin and guitar for his church. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Tonya Dean of Milton, PA; one daughter, Pam Deyo of New Philadelphia; five grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; special companion, Shirley Beddell of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, Wilbert B. and Darlene Dean of China Grove, NC; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Fred Starks of Carrollton. A memorial service will be Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at 3:00 pm in Grace Fellowship Church, 6282 Nave St. SW, Canton, OH. 44706, with Rev Keith Stephens officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
