Harold E. Brown Sr.

Harold Brown, age 92, passed away on November 19, 2023. He was born on May 8, 1931, in Shenandoah, OH, to Harry and Daisy (Lucas) Brown.

Harold retired from The Timken Company after 35 years of service.  He served his country in the United States Army.  Harold was a bus driver for the summer youth activities program.  He was a member of Northwest Church of Christ where he served as a deacon for 14 years and was a zone leader.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Juanita (Phillips) Brown whom he married in 1955; children, Robert Brown, Harold Brown Jr., Philip (Susan) Brown, Pamela Brown; 6 grandchildren, Joshua, Jeffrey (Heather), Jacob, Kristen Brown; Erica Anderson and Jessica Counts; 4 great-grandchildren, Brayden, Adam, Nicolas, and Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harry Brown Jr., and sister, Mary Pool.

A visitation will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 11 am.-12pm. noon prior to the funeral service beginning at 12pm. noon at Northwest Church of Christ, 3904 38th Street NW, Canton, OH 44718 with Minister John Wright officiating.

Harold will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Burial Park with military honors.
