Gregory L. Dawson
Age 78, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday December 20, 2016 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1938 in Burton, WV to the late Garnet Ray and Martha (Pyles) Dawson. Greg was a 1956 graduate of Timken High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He was the owner/operator of Dawson Enterprises for 38 years. Greg was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles aerie #190 and the North Lawrence Fish and Game Club. Greg had a great passion for flying, he achieved both his pilot and helicopter license and was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Kritzer) to whom he was married 51 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Greg Walsh, Kim and Pat McCarthy; two grandchildren, Elaina and Patrick âPJâ McCarthy; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Bob Buckle; good friends, Pete Cullum and Bob Schaub.
