Grace Louise Carter

Grace Louise Carter, age 95, passed away on June 6, 2023.

She was born on June 22, 1927, in Robbinsville, North Carolina, to Joshua C. and Nan (Howell) Crisp.

Grace was a salesclerk for W.T. Grant Company and member of the Canton Baptist Temple.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Bruce (Georgia) Carter; daughter-in-law, Pamela Carter; grandchildren, April Carter, Jared Carter, Dr. Kimberly Carter, Ashley (Matt) Stuchul and Meredith (Greg) Joyce; five great grandchildren, Waverly, Zion, Deacon, Salem, & Ellie; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Carter in 2014; son, Gary L. Carter; three sisters, Ruth Beauchamp, Mary Young and Bobbie Bates; two brothers, Delmas and Eugene Crisp.

A funeral service will be held in the Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home Saturday June 10, 2023, 11am with Pastor Delaney Young officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Grace will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
