Goldie F. Tanner, age 86, of Canton died Saturday, May 3, 2008 in Aultman Hospital. Born February 19, 1922 in North Industry, OH. to the late John F. and Stella (Newhouse) Tanner. She was a life resident of Canton and formerly employed by Leatherman Seed Co. for 17 years. Member of Stanley S. Bowman Post # 440 American Legion Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her first husband, Earl E. Frank in 1943; second husband, Albert J. Tanner in 1978; step-mother, Gladys Beans; one brother, Richard Beans. Survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald E. and Carol Frank of Freeport, OH; two grandchildren and spouses, Julianne and Dieter Hicks of Bolivar, Katherine and James Bradfield of Canton; six great grandchildren, Tyler Alan Witts, Shane and Faith Bradfield, Joshua McCray, Amber and Noah Hicks; one sister, Ruby Martin of E. Sparta; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Chester and Kathryn Beans of Canton, Floyd and Ellen Beans of Ely, MN; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Stephen Kimbrel officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6 – 8pm.
