Whitmer, Gloria Kay
age 63, of Bolivar, passed away Friday May 8, 2009 in Acute Care Specialty Hospital from complications following surgery. She was born March 26, 1946 in Canton to the late Ralph and Anna Mae (Cline) Risner. Gloria was a Bolivar resident for the past 18 years and a life member of Sandy Valley Church of God. She was a member of Tri-County Trail Association where she had served as editor, secretary and treasurer. She is survived by her husband, Eldridge H. Whitmer to whom she was married 36 years; four children, Sue (Bobby) Neuman of Sugarcreek, Kenneth (Peggy) Kreitzer of Manhattan, MT, Rebecca Smith of Bolivar, Scott (Tonya) Kreitzer of Dover; four step-children, John, Ron and David Whitmer, Cindy Reed; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren; five sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday May 13, 2009 at 1:00pm in the Sandy Valley Church of God with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
