Gloria J. Smith
Age 60, of Canton died Monday, May 6, 2013 in Aultman Hospital following a sudden illness. Born August 14, 1952 in Canton, OH. to the late Edward and Viola (Gaul) Shaffer. She was a life resident of Canton and was currently employed by Wal-Mart. Gloria was an avid bingo player on Sunday nights at Central Catholic High School. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David M. Smith; two daughters and son-in-law, Jeannie and Todd Cantwell, Chanda Ingram all of Canton; two sons, David J. (Heather) Smith, Daniel Smith all of Canton; eight grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law, Tony and Lee Shaffer of Arizona, Michael Cross of Utah; one sister, Debbie Shaffer of Canton. In keeping with Gloria's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help defray expenses.
