Glen L. Cartwright
Age 85, of Canton went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in Green Meadows Health and Wellness Center following an extended illness. Born November 10, 1930 in Paris, Ohio to the late Glancy and Ethel (Schneider) Cartwright. He was a life resident of Canton and a 1949 graduate of East Canton High School. Glen was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He retired from the Timken Company in 1990 with 25 years of service. Glen was a hardworking man. He liked to do word puzzles and loved to tell you a story. Preceded in death by one brother, Robert Cartwright. He is survived by his wife, Audra Alice (Robinson) Cartwright; four sons and daughter-in-law, Ted (Betty), Timothy, Thomas, and Troy Cartwright; six grandchildren, Crystal (Nick) Shaheen, Stephanie (Scott) Coblitz, Jonathan, Zachery, Kevin and Mary Cartwright; two great grandchildren, Katlynn and Alex Shaheen. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov 16, 2015 at 1:30 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Ron Aebersold officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to service on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.
